Granaria
Major urban development project on the historic Granary Island in Gdańsk
Granaria is one of the most significant urban development and regeneration projects in Gdańsk and is situated on the historic Wyspa Spichrzów, the ‘Warehouse Island’, in the heart of the Old Town. The project combines modern architecture and urban functions with the restoration and preservation of the cultural heritage of a historic port and trading centre, and comprises high-quality residential and apartment spaces, retail outlets, restaurants, service facilities and a hotel. Particular attention is paid to integrating historic warehouse buildings and their remains into the new development.
The second construction phase, Granaria II, expands the already completed development with additional residential, commercial and service spaces. These include, amongst other things, around 500 high-quality residential apartments that meet the highest standards of quality and aesthetics. Panoramic windows offer exceptional views of Gdańsk’s Old Town, the River Motława and the restored warehouse buildings.
