Roto AL Designo is the elegant fully concealed hardware for large and heavy aluminium windows up to 180 kg sash weight. It meets the most stringent demands of planners and architects with regard to perfect appearance, functionality and ease of fabrication.
The top model in the aluminium sector is of a modular design based on the proven Roto modular principle and can be integrated into almost all Euro-chamber profile systems.
Hinge sides
When it comes to design and functionality, the Roto AL Designo sets standards with the fully concealed hinge side for large aluminium windows. All components apart from the handle are integrated into the window frame and the sash so that they are invisible from the outside, with nothing marring the window’s appearance.
Unique is the combination of clamping block and clamp-strip with an integrated piercing screw for solid interlocking and positive fitting clamping of the hinge side.

Hinge side STS
Roto AL Designo | hinge side STS complements the existing system, meeting increasing requirements for higher insulation values and soundproofing, with load-bearing capacity for sash weights of up to 130 kg.
Stainless steel components, a simple installation concept and integrated damping elements provide maximum comfort for fabricators and end users.
The hardware system has been designed and optimised for both residential and public buildings.
The turning curve enables collision free opening, even with minimal clearance on the hinge side or with flush-profile systems.
Stamped components made of stainless steel are particularly durable and offer excellent protection against corrosion, especially in tropical and Mediterranean climates.

Hinge side STS 180°
Roto AL Designo | hinge side STS 180° for sash weights of up to 80 kg complements the hinge side STS and is particularly well suited for use in multi-familiy buildings and high-rise buildings.
High quality components made from stainless steel (STS) ensure maximum corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability.
- The maximum opening angle of 180° allows the sash to open fully and significantly simplifies exterior window cleaning.

- Durable Torx drive units on frame and sash components for quick and fatigue-free assembly
- Corner drive with a plug-in clamping fork for tool-free assembly
- Fixed dimensions (T4/T5) ensure that striker positions are easy to determine and enable the connecting-rods to be cropped for a high manufacturing quality.
