Certifications
Roto Frank Fenster- und Türtechnologie GmbH regularly submits to the requirements of an independent quality testing system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001. This certificate applies to the Roto locations Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Kalsdorf, Velbert, Lövő and Noginsk and gives you the assurance that product and service quality are guaranteed, that you are dealing with a competent contact and that you can expect a strict customer orientation.
In addition, the locations Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Velbert and Berlin are certified according to DIN EN ISO 50001 (Energy Management System).
The Roto International Technology Centre (Roto ITC), located in Leinfelden-Echterdingen is accredited to carry out mechanical-technological tests of windows, doors and hardware in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005.
Environmental declarations
For a number of years now in various European countries, there have been environmental declarations for building products in line with ISO 14025.
These declarations (EPD – Environmental Product Declarations) contain indices based on an environmental balance sheet that describe the contribution that the products make to the greenhouse effect and resource use, as well as to acidification, overfertilisation, the formation of smog and – if relevant – land use, and also their respective specific toxic effects on humans and ecosystems.
The experts from the Schloss- und Beschlagindustrie e.V. professional association in Velbert (Germany) have also issued declarations on our products together with an independent institute.
REACh Regulation
Statement from Roto Frank Fenster- und Türtechnologie GmbH on Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, hereinafter referred to as REACh.
Under REACh, we are a downstream user and are therefore in the same position as our customers. We use some chemical substances in our manufacturing processes, but do not produce or modify any chemicals. The obligation to pre-register and register substances is solely the responsibility of the manufacturers and importers of substances.
Roto Code of Conduct
The internal Code of Conduct of the Roto Group (Roto Code of Conduct) contains general information about corporate culture such as social and environmental responsibility as well as ethical business conduct and compliance.
Roto aligns itself with international agreements such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations, the Guidelines on Children's Rights and Business Conduct, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the International Labour Organization's international labour standards, and the United Nations Global Compact.
Roto Code of conduct for suppliers
Roto expects its suppliers to also comply with the principles of ecological, social and ethical behaviour outlined in the Roto Supplier Code of Conduct.
