Modular design with simplicity in mind
Faulty or outdated multipoint locks can be replaced quickly, economically and without the need for major alterations. This is because Roto’s new repair lock can be flexibly adapted to different requirements, as it is based on a modular design. It replaces multipoint locks from virtually all manufacturers in most door systems. The modular design, with main locks, connection sets and accessories available separately, reduces the number of variants and reduces the storage requirements for the service and spare parts business.
Compatible, practical, future-proof
At the heart of the solution are the proven “Roto Safe H | H650” lock for lever handle-operated external doors and the “Roto Safe C | C600” model for cylinder-operated external doors. Both of these main locks can be combined with various connection sets. The main lock and the extension with the additional lock are supplied separately. You can choose from connection sets featuring two locks with bolts (set 2B), two locks with hooks (set 2H) or a combination lock (set 2C).
All components are proven parts from the “Roto Safe” product range and feature corrosion-resistant and scratch-resistant surfaces – ensuring an attractive appearance and many years of flawless operation. Optional intermediate faceplates expand the possible applications and allow the lock to be adapted to various installation situations, such as those found in existing buildings.
Certified quality from Roto
“Roto Safe H | H650” boasts a maximum lever handle force of 20 kg. “Roto Safe C | C600”, designed for cylinder-operated external doors, is push-back safeguarded after one turn of the key. Both door locks can be turned around, even when installed, meaning they can be used on doors hinged on either the right or the left. The long-term functional performance of both locks has been tested and certified.
Ease of installation down to the smallest detail
Roto has designed the new modular repair lock to be simple and safe to work with. Thanks to the fixed connecting rod, errors when cropping are avoided and installation is made easier. The required length can be taken from the existing door and transferred directly to the connector components. For even greater reliability during installation, the connector components are clearly marked with “T” for top and “B” for bottom. This helps to prevent mix-ups during installation.
The optional intermediate faceplates can be easily connected to the main lock and the connector components. The individual components fit together precisely, ensuring secure installation. Connecting links neatly cover the coupling points in the door rebate and create an attractive appearance.
