Malt house apartments
New construction of a residential building with commercial and service area on the site of the former malt house of the Warsaw brewery
The character of the building is largely determined by its façade of around 3000 swinging roller shutter panels made of copper-coloured aluminium mesh. The façade is a tribute to the brewery's old buildings and the use of movable elements means it can constantly change its appearance.
There are 76 flats in the building, ranging in size from studios to two-storey penthouses on the top floors and 5 commercial and service areas in the lower part.
Due to its location and character, as well as its unique shape and the technological solutions used, this building has a chance of becoming one of the landmarks in the contemporary neighbourhood of Wola.
