Roto Eifel

The Roto Eifel range comprises thermally broken thresholds for PVC and timber main doors, balcony doors and patio doors. These form an ideal transition to the outdoor area and result in improved thermal insulation. With an installation height of 20 mm, they are barrier-free in accordance with DIN EN 18040. Only UV-resistant, high-impact PVC is used to produce Roto Eifel thresholds.

Main doors are among the least energetically critical points of a building. The interaction between Roto Eifel thresholds and various accessories such as

leads to improved isothermal efficiency and thermal insulation.

The thresholds are installed using threshold retainers tailored specifically to the profile or alternatively without retainers by means of contour milling. They are available in 15 depths from 40 mm to 140 mm.

Weather profile strips

The Roto Eifel weather profile strip made from high-grade aluminium provides effective protection against driving rain. The mounting screw made from weather-resistant material can be attached in various different positions underneath the profile.

Texel floor door gasket

In terms of energy efficiency, the patented Texel automatic floor door gasket is a useful addition. It produces a reliable seal with the threshold as soon as the door is closed.

Threshold retainers and centre post brackets

Various threshold retainers and centre post brackets for the most common profile systems are available to ensure a stable and clean connection between the thresholds and frame.

Alternatively, the thresholds can be installed without a threshold retainer by milling the outline of the thresholds in the frame using notch milling machines.
