Turn-Only and Tilt-Only versions are available, both for timber profile systems with a 13 mm hardware axis and a recommended rebate depth of 30 mm. These two models use an extended, ergonomic handle which is installed at the bottom of the horizontal profile and ensures convenient window operation, even when seated, for instance. Components like the comfort sash stay and a specifically tailored comfort espagnolette mean that the window is even easier to open. This special hardware technology boasts an additional functional element in the form of the comfort arrestable ventilation stay.
Two designs for different requirements
Both versions of the comfort ventilation window make controlled room ventilation possible while preventing the sash being inadvertently opened all the way. The system can be configured as a Tilt-Only comfort ventilation window up to a sash weight of 80 kg and a Turn-Only comfort ventilation window up to a sash weight of 100 kg.
Turn-Only version: the handle is moved 180°, which forcibly controls the sash so that it is opened by 80 mm without any manual effort. The opening width is predefined. If the anti-unlocking mechanism of the comfort arrestable ventilation stay is released, the sash can be turned open further up to 90°.
Tilt-Only version: in this case too, turning the handle 180° opens the sash to a predefined opening width of 80 mm. After the anti-unlocking mechanism of the comfort arrestable ventilation stay has been released, the window can also be opened up to 90°.
Variety of formats
For the Tilt-Only version, sash rebate widths from 640 to 1400 mm and sash rebate heights from 620 to 1600 mm are possible, while the Turn-Only model can be used for sash rebate widths from 680 to 1400 mm and sash rebate heights from 530 to 1600 mm. This means that slim, wide and tall elements as well as standard formats can be created conveniently and reliably.
Concealed hardware technology
All of the hinge side’s components – from the sash stay and the pivot rest area to the arrestable ventilation stay – are located fully in the sash rebate and are not visible when the window is closed. As such, “Roto NX | C” meets the high aesthetic demands of contemporary interior architecture.
Tested components
The hardware technology used meets the requirements of durability class H3 according to DIN EN 13126‑8 with 20,000 cycles and corrosion resistance class 5 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227 and EN 1670. As a result, window manufacturers get a durable and reliable solution that meets high quality and security standards.
