Stiftstraße 3 in Stuttgart
Office and commercial building Stiftstraße 3 in Stuttgart, Germany
The building is located opposite the listed church "Stiftskirche" near the main shopping arcade "Königstraße". The site was previously occupied by a post-war building dating from 1954, but as the retail space no longer met current commercial requirements, a completely new building was developed.
The new building is structurally based on the surrounding 1950s buildings. The shell limestone façade is made of a typical material from the region.
