Baden-Württemberg Music Centre

Educational and meeting place for amateur music

The Baden-Württemberg Music Centre, the educational and meeting place for amateur music, is set to become a hub for wind music, choral music and many other musical groups.

As part of an architectural competition, the model by the Stuttgart-based architectural firm LRO was awarded first prize in spring 2016 and was then taken forward for planning and realisation.
The interplay of open development and green open spaces is characterised by the division of the building mass into two buildings. The academy building and the accommodation with restaurant are connected to the music centre by an inner courtyard with a wide archway, the main entrance.
