Tightly sealed: from the smallest to the largest aluminium sliding element

Leinfelden-Echterdingen – Thanks to its innovative closing movement perpendicular to the frame profile, the “Patio Inowa” sliding hardware ensures incredibly tight sealing, explains its manufacturer, Roto Frank Fenster- und Türtechnologie GmbH (Roto FTT). It is suitable for use in very small and very large windows and balcony doors up to a sash width of 3000 mm and sash height of 3600 mm. A version for sash weights up to 400 kg is now available. In September, the Roto Aluvision team will present a tested aluminium sliding system with “Patio Inowa” at the “Rivercruise” architecture trade fair. System suppliers and metal constructors can at any time obtain advice that is specifically tailored to them regarding the use of “Patio Inowa”. This service is also available online in the virtual “Roto City” on request.

Tightly sealed, even at great heights

Roto reports that the tight sealing guaranteed by “Patio Inowa” provides outstanding sound and thermal insulation at any height and in any climate zone. A sliding system equipped with this hardware offers draught-free living comfort, even in installation situations that are impacted by high wind loads, such as on the top floors of the high-rise residential buildings that are planned all over. Thanks to an extremely low threshold, “Patio Inowa” ensures an accessible transition in accordance with DIN 18040, which is a frequently requested feature.

Operating convenience for heavy elements

The new version, “Patio Inowa | 400”, was designed specifically for extra-large and heavy door leaves. Even at a sash weight of 400 kg, the hardware always remains easy to operate, explains Stefano Gianfreda, Head of Aluvision Sales. This is ensured by a features including a new, robust roller unit with stable, smooth-running rollers.

Reliable solution for on-trend large formats

“‘Patio Inowa | 400’ in particular allows aluminium window manufacturers to successfully equip themselves to meet the requirements of exclusive construction projects, which more and more frequently call for extremely large sliding systems with heavy triple glazing,” highlights Gianfreda. With its extensive “Patio Inowa” hardware product range, Roto meets the demand of many builders and investors for more reliable hardware for heavy elements, with a focus on keeping up to date with the latest trends and fulfilling the highest quality standards.

Providing advice at the “Rivercruise” architecture trade fair

During the “Rivercruise” event series, Gianfreda’s team will provide architects with information about aluminium sliding systems that are equipped with “Patio Inowa” and have already been tested. The trade fair will be held on the “Blue Rhapsody”, one of Germany’s most modern event ships. The “Blue Rhapsody” will be moored in Frankfurt on 16th September, in Düsseldorf on 19th September and in Cologne on 20th September.
