Leinfelden-Echterdingen – For Roto Window and Door Technology, the Fensterbau Frontale trade show proved once again just how relevant integrated system solutions are. “Many conversations centred around the link between technology, design and customer benefits,” explains CEO Marcus Sander. “In particular, the many international visitors and new contacts confirmed to us that there is a global demand for solutions which function reliably, are easy to work with and offer quantifiable added economic value. Our Perfect Match, consisting of hardware technology, seal expertise and services, helps us cater to this need. Across the globe, it makes windows and doors more convenient, more tightly sealed and more durable.”

Visitors to the “Roto City” saw how hardware, locks, thresholds, seals and glazing technology could be used in a variety of applications on our stand area of around 1200 square metres. They had the opportunity to experience at first hand the solutions in windows, sliding elements and main doors made from any frame material for private homes as well as for public buildings. A green park at the heart of the “Roto City” was an inviting place to spend some time. The virtual “Roto City” (available at ftt.roto-frank.com/en/roto-city) offers anyone who wasn’t able to attend the trade show in person access to all of the product themes that were presented, as part of an individual guided tour from a Roto adviser, at any time.
Coming soon: new thresholds for “Roto Patio Inowa”
Sliding systems equipped with “Roto Patio Inowa | Max” for timber and timber-aluminium systems are one example of how the Perfect Match creates added value. The hardware and seal system reliably protects against draughts, rain and external noise, even in extreme weather conditions and in multi-storey buildings with high wind loads. Two new thresholds are now being added to the system.
The “Comfort” thermally broken threshold – which is barrier-free in accordance with DIN EN 18040 – for inward running sliding sashes is fully recessed into the floor, can be rolled over in line with ift class 5 and complies with DIN 18195 and DIN 18531 to 18535. It will be available from the end of May 2026. The “Flex” threshold for sliding elements with outward running sashes is recessed into the floor in the room or completely surface-mounted. If it is recessed, an assembly height of as low as 4 mm can be achieved in the room. The height of the entire assembly, including the roller track, is 22 mm. The “Flex” threshold will be available at the end of the year.
For windows that offer added value
The Roto comfort window is already established on the market. Its extended, ergonomic window handle opens the Tilt&Turn sash either to the tilt or turn position. Operation is effortless thanks to special components like the comfort sash stay and a compatible comfort espagnolette.
Fabricators of PVC and timber profiles with a 13 mm hardware axis and the recommended rebate depth of 30 mm are now able to produce two more versions using the “Roto NX | C” concealed hinge side: the Turn-Only comfort ventilation window and the Tilt-Only comfort ventilation window. A feature shared by both models is the forcibly controlled opening of the window sash up to the defined opening width of 80 mm, initiated by the comfort handle being moved. Depending on the version chosen, the sash is turned or tilted open to ventilate rooms.
New for all opening types: “Roto Square”
With the new “Roto Square”, the manufacturer is extending its handle line with the addition of a model that seamlessly harmonises with contemporary architecture. The angular design inspired by Cubism extends through the shaft of the handle, the transitions and escutcheon, and reflects the latest trends in facades and interiors. The variety of different models lives up to the claim of the Perfect Match. From summer 2026, handles – including lever handles – will be available for all opening types.
#perfectmatch points the way
A growing number of window and door manufacturers are enjoying the benefits of being able to purchase hardware and thresholds from Roto together with seals from Deventer. At Fensterbau Frontale 2026, the #perfectmatch once again pointed the way to elements which embodied the Roto Group’s system expertise. The “DDS 1220” self-regulating drop down seal for external doors and the “DS 7354c” coextruded glazing seal for timber-aluminium elements and facades were two of our most popular exhibits at Fensterbau Frontale.
The “DDS 1220” reliably seals the plane behind the threshold. And that’s not all – it impresses with ease of installation and good design, as no mounting brackets are needed. All that can be seen on the external door is a premium aluminium track, which covers the black PVC seal.
Dry glazing made simple
The “DS 7354c” coextruded glazing seal provides long-lasting and flexible sealing for the joint between the aluminium shell and pane of glass with a stop distance of up to 6.5 mm. The seal head made from particularly flexible silicone foam keeps the compression consistent as the pressure increases. No wet sealants are required for the “DS 7354c”, so it can also be used to seal windows and facades on construction sites.
Butt hinge for aluminium smooth-rebate profiles
Butt hinges from the “Roto Solid B” product line are available for doors made from any frame material. Roto provides tailored support to producers of aluminium doors by adapting the hinge to their profile systems. The butt hinge now also comes in the “Roto Solid B | 224 A” two-part version for smooth-rebate profiles in aluminium doors up to a leaf weight of 120 kg. The mechanism for lateral, height and gasket compression adjustment is integrated into the hinge roller on all “Solid B” butt hinges. This prevents gap formation and axis offset when adjusting the hinge. This means that the attractive look of the butt hinge is always retained regardless of the hinge setting.
New “Eifel TB | Edge” threshold
The “Roto Eifel” product range for timber and PVC doors has been expanded with the addition of the new “Eifel TB | Edge”, alongside the proven “Eifel TB | Curve” threshold with its rounded design. Just like the compatible “Design Edge” weather profile strip, these add clear, rectangular design elements to doors. An extensive range of accessories is available. From aero stops to additional profiles, these components optimise the functionality and durability of thresholds. Door manufacturers can obtain drop down seals from Deventer to achieve a Perfect Match for their external doors.
