The Petecki Group: “With Roto we are opening up to new and promising markets”

One of the latest developments involving the Polish manufacturer (the Petecki Group) is going up in picturesque Wales. It is an exclusive estate of 47 single-family homes in which every detail catches the eye by its style and perfection. From the start, the design principles were based on a high aesthetic level, seclusion and comfort.

“For this reason we produced all the windows and doors from top-quality materials, using Roto hardware with equipment that meets the expectations of the most demanding customers.”

This stands out!

How did it come about that Petecki brand windows and doors found their way to Wales? In early 2022, the company Wisniewski Design presented us with a project for the construction of a large and exclusive estate. To begin with conversations centred on windows of the English type, but we soon decided to make the windows of a European type. “We wanted to do something for the British market that would be noticed, would stand out and would attract the attention of investors,” says Marcin Bednarek.

“The Petecki Group was the ideal partner here, because of its comprehensive range of joinery with components known throughout the world, including Roto, with PVC windows and also aluminium ones, external doors, gates, roller-blinds and shutters.”

Quality in silken colours

Marcin Bednarek emphasises that the whole estate had to meet the stringent guidelines of the local authorities. “The designs had to meet set requirements for strength and sealing. Having familiarised ourselves with these guidelines we took the decision to produce windows of the highest standard, with no compromises. Petecki Future Line 82 MD windows were installed in all the buildings, on profiles from the company Veka, coloured dark silky grey, with Roto NX hardware systems,” says the Petecki Group’s Commercial Director.

“The Roto NX hardware system was an ideal fit with the investors’ expectations. Because of the high load-bearing capacity and precision construction, we achieved a safe and lightweight action of large sashes and night ventilation up to standard.”

Warmth and comfort on an everyday basis

Climatic conditions also affected the choice of patio doors. The designers had decided on the use of sliding doors of the smart slide type, with the innovative Roto Patio Inowa hardware system. “The decision was dictated by the demand for excellent insulation,” Marcin Bednarek emphasises. “The chosen patio doors are equally a response to the guidelines of the investor, who at the same time stressed the need for smooth and easy use and modern design. Our partner expected all of the joinery to be very well insulated both thermally and acoustically, and we managed that,” says Marcin Bednarek. He adds:

“One serious argument in favour of the choice of Petecki Inova Slide with the Roto system was the potential for producing large sizes. The customer appreciated the beneficial ratio of the price and the broad potential of the joinery.”

Corrosion protection with Roto Sil Level 6

Components of the Roto NX hardware system are additionally coated, as standard, with the special Roto Sil Level 6 anti-corrosion coating, which guarantees the highest level of corrosion protection and long life. This was particularly important given the high humidity level that is typical of the Welsh climate.

In recent times the Petecki Group has been very active in foreign markets. “Our new departments and commercial offices are appearing in more and more countries, and these are to provide support for sales projects. We are particularly satisfied to see what are already measurable benefits from our activities in the shape of these developments,” is how Marcin Bednarek sums it up.
