Test Results Far Exceeded Expectations: Mühlenkord and Roto Setting New Standards in Timber Window Construction

The results of the tests for air permeability, driving rain impermeability, and wind load resistance not only confirmed the high quality of the systems but also significantly exceeded the set targets.
WWL Performance Testing at the Highest Level
The tests focused on verifying the performance of timber windows under defined wind and weather loads. The results speak for themselves: The single-sashed window system achieved a driving rain impermeability rating of E1200, while the double-sashed unit achieved E900. Both test specimens also achieved air permeability class 4 and wind load resistance class 4.
The tests thus impressively demonstrate the systems’ performance reserves and establish a solid foundation for future applications and certifications.

The results achieved are the product of a perfectly coordinated overall system. The double-sashed window system incorporated, among other components, Roto NX, Deventer seals, and the Eifel TB threshold. The interaction of all components proved to be a decisive factor in this success.
