We want to exploit this trump card more successfully in the future and grow with the Roto AL hard- ware product range.” Roto has an extremely good brand image in Turkey because, despite all the changes in the Turkish organ- isation, one thing has stayed the same: Roto does not permit production under licence and continues to manufacture hardware only at its own factories with clear, premium quality requirements. “A large number of window fabricators are aware of this and ap- preciate it. In contrast to some of its competitors, Roto does not grant production licences, as a matter of principle, in order to en- sure that it is always in control of the product and supply quality.” Artug Özeren is not worried about the future: “We have es- tablished a solid position that enables growth without having a negative impact on customer service. So we are looking forward to the opportunities ahead of us.” The luxury hotel Divan, located on the famous Taksim Square in Istanbul, had its windows and facade renovated in 2014. Roto NT has provided security and comfort in the hotel rooms ever since. “The Ministry for Tourism wants to ensure that the Turkish hotel industry remains attractive to discerning guests by means of regular investments in its existing buildings”, Artug Özeren reports on an interesting development. “As a result, Roto solutions for aluminium window renovation or the TiltFirst technology for PVC and timber windows will be in even greater demand in the future.” The Roto high rack warehouse in Istanbul accommodates up to 2,600 Euro pallets. The most important Roto OK, Roto NT, Roto AL and Roto Patio range components are always in stock together with all Roto handles. Roto Inside met with Artug Özeren in his office in Tuzla, in the Istanbul metropolitan region. He is satisfied with the results of the investments over the past few years.
