Our window handles are available with different technical functions providing security and convenience:

Lockable window handles with profile cylinder guarantee reliable, twofold security. On the one hand, they prevent the hardware from being manipulated from the outside, and on the other, they prevent the window from unauthorized opening on the living side. Versions "40 Nm" and "100 Nm" describe the respective torques of the lockable handles. Version "Lockable 100 Nm with push cylinder" meets the highest requirements in terms of security and burglary resistance grade:
  • Meets all requirements of European standard DIN EN 1627-1630 ff, which defines the security burglary resistance grade for windows and doors
  • Can be marketed in all EU countries
  • Corresponds to DIN 18104-1 für burglar-inhibiting retrofit products − providing additional sale opportunities in the renovation sector
  • Highly convenient thanks to large turn key and easy-to-operate push cylinder
  • Lockable window handle with a tested torque of 100 Nm: strong mechanical security provides good protection against burglary and functions as an effective child safety lock
  • Meets all resistance classes in conjunction with the right window unit
  • The closed/tilted window is locked quickly and easily by simply pushing on the lock

Secustik® window handles contain a patented blocking mechanism for integrated basic safety. It prevents the window hardware from unauthorized displacement from the outside. A swivel clutch between handle und spindle functions as a “mechanical diode”. It allows the window handle to be operated normally from the inside, but it blocks the handle if anyone attempts to manipulate the window handle from the outside via the hardware. The handles thereby fulfil the requirements specified in A-JH RAL-R 607/13.

When Secustik® handles are turned by 180° from the locking position to the tilt position, the self-locking locking mechanism engages in various handle positions with a discreet click. That is how you can recognize this outstanding security factor.

Patentierter Sperr-Mechanismus des Secustik®-Fenstergriffs
Beim Drehen des Fenstergriffs rasten die federgelagerten Sicherungsbolzen (1) mit einem Präzisions-Klicken in spezielle Aussparungen im Gehäuse (2) ein.
Im Verlauf der Dreh-Bewegung werden die Sicherungsbolzen (1) vom Kupplungselement (3) zu den weiteren Aussparungen (2) mitgenommen, wo sie jeweils wieder hörbar einrasten.

The version with the push button prevents any unauthorised displacement of the hardware from the outside. On the living side, the handle can only be moved to a different position by pushing the button.

The TiltFirst (tilt before turning) window handle version is designed for the locking, tilting and turning position.

The handle is equipped with a free-running mechanism between locking and tilting position (the locking cylinder does not need to be unlocked) to allow ventilation operation. At the limit of the 90° tilt mode 
there is a blocking mechanism. Moving on to the 180° turn mode is only possible after the locking cylinder has been unlocked. The handle can also be locked in 0° locked mode and therefore has an additional burglar-inhibiting backup function.

This innovative handle also contains a unique automatic locking function that blocks the opening function in 180° turn mode even “without locking the locking cylinder”.

1. Ver- und Entriegeln: Der Schlüssel kann den Griff verriegeln oder entriegeln. Im entriegelten Zustand ist die Bewegung des Griffes möglich. Verriegeln: Schlüssel 180° gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Entriegeln: Schlüssel 180° im Uhrzeigersinn drehen.
2. Kippen: Entriegelten Griff um 90° drehen (Kippstellung = waagrecht), um das Fenster zu kippen. Ohne Schlüssel kann der Griff jetzt nicht weiter gedreht und in Drehstellung (senkrecht) gebracht werden (Drehmoment max. 38 Nm).
3. Drehen: Voraussetzung: Griff in Kippstellung (waagrecht) bei geschlossenem Fenster. Schlüssel 45° drehen und halten, gleichzeitig den Griff 90° drehen und in Drehstellung (senkrecht) bringen. Tilt First Fenstergriffe sollten nur bei geschlossenem Fenster bedient werden.
