In many rooms a considerable share of the heating energy is blown out the window with incorrect ventilation – especially when they remain open too long.
An electric window drive makes a major contribution to significantly reducing the energy costs in the building, as the automatically controlled, natural tilt ventilation with the Roto E-Tec Drive provides for controlled air exchange.

The regular, need-based supply of rooms with fresh air also enables a healthy room climate and prevents respiratory illnesses caused by bad air.

Another (health) aspect is the development of mould due to incorrect ventilation behaviour: Especially after the morning shower, many leave the house in a rush. And they leave behind moist air that spreads out into all rooms. A pre-programmed E-Tec Drive provides for an automatic air exchange and reduces the risk of mould. And because the windows lock again completely, there is no invitation to burglars.

In combination with the Roto E-Tec MTS, the E-Tec Drive forms a virtually exemplary combination: As soon as the window opens automatically, the contact element integrated in the hardware together with a controllable thermostat sensor ensures that the heating is turned down. This prevents you from literally heating the great outdoors through the window even while you're absent!

In addition to the use in bathrooms, the Roto E-Tec Drive can, of course, be used wherever heating costs can be reduced with controlled ventilation, for example in living rooms and bedrooms. But air conditioning costs can be considerably decreased in office buildings with large glass facades as well.
