  • Tasks: analysing problems and tasks within the company, IT and telecommunications system solutions, procuring hardware and software, advising and supporting specialist departments, adapting and installing application systems and organising system management, advice and training for users

Special features of commercial vocational training

  • The apprentices manage the Roto Shop – a small company within the Roto Group – on their own, and are responsible for procurement, calculation, sales, advertising and accounting for this shop
  • Internal lessons: English (with the aim of receiving two certificates – telc B1 and telc B2), revising and expanding on difficult topics from vocational college, special lessons on current Topics
  • Training: MS Office, presentation training, modern etiquette, product training, factory tour training, test preparation, etc.
  • Annual participation in a business simulation exercise
  • Intensive collaboration with schools and kindergartens in the surrounding area, e.g. through information events, factory tours, etc.

  • Duration: 2 years, final examination before the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK)
  • Tasks: manual and mechanical metalworking techniques, producing components and functional assemblies, operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, selecting tools on the basis of work instructions, monitoring the production process
  • After one year: specialisation in the subject of machining Technology
