Competent Addition

Leinfelden-Echterdingen – (rp) The management group of the Window and Door Technology Division of Roto Frank AG is one again fully staffed. As reported by the building supplier, Stefan Harder will join the company on 1 January 2012 as Director of the Western Business Areas. As a result, he follows Christoph Hugenberg, who as an additional board member became Director of the Roof and Solar Technology Division in September 2011.

In future Harder will bear the entire responsibility for the economic areas of Central Europe, Western Europe, Southern Europe, Central and South America and the US and for the sales activities of the “AluVision” and “Door” product groups (West). The 49 year old MBA is reported to come from one of the world’s leading building technology specialists. During his employment for over 12 years there, he most recently acted as the Area Director for Emerging Markets (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) on an international management level. All together he has acquired extensive practical experience abroad, in the course of which, for example, he lived for nine years “on site”.

The Roto Chairman of the Board, Dr. Eckhard Keill, to which the Director of the Western Business Areas reports, spoke of a “competent addition”. When doing so, among other things he emphasised Mr. Harder’s profound knowledge of the various distribution structures of the building supply industry. However, his broad range of international experience and his distinct know-how in sales were then “also responsible for our decision”.

Especially in view of the constantly changing, highly diversified market conditions, Harder himself considers his new position to be an “exciting challenge”. This applies all the more as he has always perceived Roto from the outside as a brand which “stands for innovative power, reliability and customer orientation”. This is a great motivation for him to actively participate in future.
